Every marketer is claiming that their product is
best. This is the nature of advertising, and I am sure we have all found out the
hard way, at least once in our life, that these claims are not always true.
The failure of people and products to
not live up to their promises, both on and offline, has
left a bad taste in my mouth on more than one occasion. Whole government
departments are set up to deal with these unscrupulous personalities, but still
they are out there and we must be careful. Does this mean we must never trust
anyone? No, of course not!
Finding the right product can be daunting. Where does this leave us?
Who can we go to? What is the fastest method to make money online?
The first question I always ask myself when purchasing
anything online is, who is this impersonal faceless person I am buying from?
How much knowledge do these advertisers really have? Can you trust them to give
you the whole picture? Do they know the best and quickest way to generate an income
online?

Have you ever felt that way, I know I sure
have... Don't worry, at the end of the day there is no need to be too sceptical
as most online marketers are honest descent people. Also, those Guru's who devise
new ways to look at old problems can be trusted. Many of whom I know personally.
They are descent honest people who look outside the box of traditional life.
The way around this problem of trust is to not only assess the product, but the
author as well. That's why I will tell you something about myself so you are not
buying from a faceless non-entity.
My name is Paul Goodwyn a Bachelor of Science Graduate majoring in Organic
Chemistry. In 1976 I found myself suffocating in a job that was repetitious and
did not pay enough to fulfil the dreams I had. I realized that if I was ever
going to make the sort of money I felt I deserved, some drastic changes would
need to be made.
Noticing my despondency, a good friend who was direct selling artwork with a 35%
commission on sales, encouraged me to work with him. After watching him over
several months earning thousands a week I knew it was time to make the change.
Throwing years of study to the wind I began my marketing career. Since then I
have developed, imported and promoted countless products both offline and
online.
When I first began online marketing I bought the
few scarce programs available at the time. Marketing through PPC search engines
was a trial and error process where you either learnt fast or got eaten up and
spat out. The relevancy of most search results were questionable, making
it extremely hard to connect with your targeted market.
My first results were scattered, a sale one day then nothing for the next few
days. After a few weeks on the merry-go-round of inconsistent results I decided
to analyse what was going on behind the scenes. I found there was a pattern to
what was happening. The more I experimented and tested the better the results
became.
I started applying my new found techniques and began getting consistent results.
I was
overwhelmed. Over the weeks and months that followed my understanding grew and
multiple sales began increasing to the point where thousands of dollars was
being accrued each month. Applying the method to several markets multiplied
the results even more and tens of thousands of dollars flooded into my accounts each
month.
As time went by I diligently tested every facet
and permutation of keyword combinations, ad copy creation, traffic generation,
landing page optimization and more. I worked day and night
analysing, comparing, tweaking, refining every aspect of my campaign until I understood what made a
campaign successful, what combinations of ingredients worked together. My return
on investment increased with each refinement I implemented. I knew I had turned a major corner on the road to
success. In the year that followed I
made $286,589 working from home and was free to travel anywhere, while I worked.
I still wasn't satisfied! This was where my past caught up to me. My scientific background urged me to test one
more obstacle in my way. This was to prove the results I was achieving were able to be duplicated by others
that wanted to work from home. If this could be proved I knew I was on to a
winning formula.
So I decided to returned the favour to my friend, who
gave me encouragement once, who had broken the shackles that bound me to a lifetime of servitude to an ungrateful
employer. An employer that exploited my talents and did not have my welfare at heart.
I told my friend everything. How I seemed to have discovered something very
important and I wanted him to try to achieve the same results as I did. I told him I could show him how to make many times
more money than he was making, without getting out of his pyjama's in the
morning following my work at home program.
I explained in detail everything I had discovered and he too started achieving
magnificent results. After two months of
strictly applying the method his results were improving consistently and after
six months they were going through the roof. He gave up his day job and started
to work at home from his personal computer.
One test subject succeeding wasn't enough, so I started looking around to find
more. My cousin in Canada had fallen on hard times, and my brother, were both taking an
interest in my work, so I instructed each of them. My cousin was negative and apprehensive at first, conditioned by her recent troubles
in life, but after a few months she and my brother also duplicated my results
and found they could give up their day jobs and work from home making a good living online. Of the
three, my friend was the most hungry, even today he is extremely successful.
It was after these epic turning points that I believed I had found the
holy grail of marketing online, a concept that would change the life of people. You did not need a degree
or riches to make money anymore. You did not have to travel long distances
and could switch on your computer and work at home. Anyone could apply these simple concepts and benefit. Here was a
method that evened the playing field between rich and poor. It was at this time
that I decided to reveal what I had learned and market the results online.
Today,
establishing new campaigns, and putting life into dead one’s is my occupation. I have been presenting products to offline markets since 1977 and to online markets
since 1998. I
